My Work
In both nature and life, everything changes and evolves. There is life and there is death. Just as we transition from one season to the next, our lives move through stages each with their own unique beauty, challenges, opportunities for growth, transformation and healing.
I find inspiration from nature and the seasons. There is endless beauty that surrounds us and offers healing for the body, mind and soul. I am drawn to these elements that are grounding, quiet the mind, bring peace to the heart, and give strength in the midst of struggles.
There is something so satisfying about molding a lump of clay into a functional and tangible object that becomes a part of your everyday life. I am mesmerized by the tactile, therapeutic and grounding nature of clay. It brings me peace and helps silence the noise in my head, allowing me to be fully present in the moment.
In my work, I use a technique called Sgraffito; carving through layers of colored underglaze to reveal the clay color underneath. It is a very relaxing process and symbolic of my personal growth journey. Transforming and healing reveals layers of conditioning, fears and insecurities, allowing the authentic self to come through.

Waves Mug
The Waves Mug represents the ever changing and flowing nature of life. Like the ocean waves, our lives are filled with ups and downs. I have learned to embrace both pain and joy, grief and gratitude; these contrasting experiences are interconnected and coexist within us. Releasing the need to control and surrendering to this rhythmic flow, helps me discover calm and beauty even through life’s biggest storms.
Mountain Mug
The Mountain Mug represents strength and stability as we navigate the obstacles of life. Just as mountains stand tall against the elements and storms, we too can find that inner power to anchor our feet when faced with situations that seem hopeless and impossible. When life is hard I find my strength through my faith in God and His promises. Through this faith, I find purpose, hope and courage to take those steps forward and keep walking the path.
Galaxy Mug
The Galaxy mug represents the expansiveness of our universe and reminds me that there are some things in life we will never fully understand. Embracing that truth creates a space within ourselves to be open and receptive to messages and guidance from the divine. Connecting with something that is greater than myself brings peace and balance to my life. A guiding light in the midst of the darkness.
